More than 40 environmentalists came together at the Cantonment Railway Colony to voice their opposition to the proposed tree felling. Namma Bengaluru Foundation, along with citizens and members from environmental groups such as Parisarakagi Navu, United Conservation, and Vruksha Foundation, gathered ahead of the public consultation scheduled for May 20th. During a site visit, they highlighted the presence of over 60 heritage trees within the colony, urging for their protection.
