Namma Bengaluru in association with Kalya Green and Alahalli Lake & Neighbourhood Development Drive organised a ‘Water for All’ initiative on 13th March 2022 at Alahalli Lake, Anjanapura ward.
More than 100 people participated in the event. As part of the event, saplings were planted around the lake and awareness was created on water conservation and protection of the environment.
During the summer months, thousands of birds die without water. To create awareness on this, bamboo water bowls and nests for birds were distributed to people who took part in the event so that they could place it in their homes.
